The Prevention Department provides prevention
services to the Newburgh Enlarged City School District and
Student Assistance Services to the Pine Bush School District.

TEAM Newburgh is a local coalition serving the
Newburgh Enlarged City School District. The coalition works to
strengthen collaboration among all facets of the community and lower
substance abuse among youth. TEAM Newburgh is funded by a Drug
Free Communities Support Program grant from the Substance Abuse and
Mental Health Administration. TEAM Newburgh is housed at the
Catholic Charities Community Services Gateway Center on the Grounds
of Newburgh Free Academy.

Mission Statement
Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County, as
one of the human service agencies of Catholic Charities of The
Archdiocese of New York, is committed to building a compassionate
and just society. Catholic Charities Community Services of
Orange County serves the homeless, the hungry, the emotionally and
physically handicapped, immigrants, the marginalized and vulnerable
of Orange County. We collaborate with parishes and
non-Catholic and Catholic partners. We help people of all
religions who are in need.
